V28-98 : ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING

The report of the Chief Executive advised that the District Audit report on Best Value would be available for the next meeting, together with proposals based on the brain storming session above and a report on a seminar on the Scrutiny role which the Assistant Chief Executive was to attend on 15/16 June 2000. In addition to the above, it was suggested that members attempt a `model' review of a topic as a Best Value exercise.

RESOLVED

1. That Re-Cycling be chosen as the subject for the `model' Best Value exercise.

2. That each member of the Scrutiny Panel receive copies of all agendas until further notice.
