V28-94 : CHAIRMAN'S ADDRESS
The Chairman welcomed members to what he felt was an innovative Panel which would be breaking new ground. He hoped party politics could be put into the background on most issues to be addressed.
The Panel would meet as a whole group for the initial meetings until November 2000 so new members could be inducted. After that, due to the amount of work, the Panel was likely to divide into two sub-groups to allow more items to be addressed.
