V28-86 : AMENITIES SECTION
The report of the Director of Community Services advised that one of the Council's three Park Rangers left on 21 May 2000. It was proposed to advertise for a temporary Park Ranger to cover the late busy Spring/Summer period, until the future of the operational services had been clarified. The proposal would be within the existing budgets to see the service through to the end of the summer. The future and time frame of the Parks Service could then be clarified at this stage within the scope of the Council's reorganisation. RESOLVED
That a temporary Park Ranger be appointed for the period 18 July to 30 September 2000.
