V28-82 : PEST CONTROL SERVICE CHARGES

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services proposed new charges for the Pest Control Service in accordance with the recommendations of the Performance Review Panel made at its meeting on 5 April 2000.

RESOLVED

That the following scale of charges for Pest Control Treatments, which are inclusive of VAT, be adopted with immediate effect:
(a) Domestic (per visit)
(i) rats, mice and cockroaches No Charge
(ii) wasps, bees and hornets 29.00
(iii) other insect related 29.00
(Income Support/Benefit cases to be charged 50%)
Non-returnable call-out fee for all chargeable domestic treatments 10.00

(b) Non-Domestic (per hour or part thereof)
All treatments 35.00
Out of hours 60.00
