V28-671 : MEMBERSHIP OF PANELS

The report of the Chief Executive proposed revisions to the membership of the Council's new Panels which had been received from the Leaders of the Labour and Conservative Groups. The Liberal Democrat/Independent Group did not wish to make any changes. The proposals left two vacancies which would need to be filled at a future date.

Additionally, the replacement of Councillor Gouldby on the Corporate and Policy Services Policy Panel necessitated the appointment of a new Chairman for this Panel, and the Labour Group had nominated Councillor Parr. On the Council approving this recommendation, Councillor Parr would become an ex-officio member of The Executive and consequently additional amendments were proposed.

RESOLVED

1. That the proposed amendments to the membership of Panels as set out below approved:
