V28-636 : COMPUTERS FOR TENANTS ASSOCIATIONS

The report of the Corporate Director (Community Services) considered a request from the Waveney Tenant Panel for the provision of grants for computers to qualifying tenants' associations.

However, the Council's Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Group was to review the Council's entire IT strategy, and it was therefore felt that this Group should be requested to include this issue in their work. The ICT Group's recommendations would ultimately be brought through the Panel system to The Executive.

RESOLVED

That the Information and Communications Technology Group be requested to consider the provision of computers, or grants towards computers, to qualifying Tenants' Associations, as part of their review of the Council's IT strategy.
