V28-631 : TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS - DELEGATED POWERS
The report of the Corporate Director (Regeneration and Environment) sought rationalisation of the Council's current procedure for delegated powers relating to Traffic Regulation Orders. It was proposed that officers be given delegated power to advertise Traffic Regulation Orders following appropriate consultation, and the making of the Order if no objections were received. In the event of objections, these would be reported to The Executive for determination.
RESOLVED
That the Corporate Manager responsible for Highways and Transportation be given delegated power to:
(a) authorise the advertising of a Traffic Regulation Order, following appropriate consultation
(b) authorise the making of a Traffic Regulation Order when no objections have been received to the advertised Order.
