V28-62 : ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - POST SV102

The report of the Chief Executive considered the replacement of the holder of Post SV102, Economic Development Officer, who was leaving the Council.

The post dealt with a variety of critical activities within the Economic Development Unit including Objective 2 programme representation, various rural initiatives and the emerging SRB Programme for the market towns in Suffolk as it affects Waveney, and it was considered essential that the post be filled as soon as possible to ensure as little disruption as possible to the Council's external funding and partnership work.

RESOLVED

That Post SV102, Economic Development Officer, be advertised internally and externally and filled.
