V28-617 : WAVENEY LOCAL PLAN REVIEW - ISSUES REPORT

The report of the Corporate Director (Regeneration and Environment) set out the background and context for the publication of the Issues Report for consultation. which was the next stage in the preparation of the revised Waveney Local Plan.

The Issues Report drew on concerns highlighted from the response to the Questionnaire in the Council's Newsletter earlier in the year and a consideration of Government guidance on planning policy.

RESOLVED

1. That the Waveney Local Plan Review : Issues Report be approved for consultation purposes.

2. That a Seminar/Workshop be arranged to be held during the consultation period on the Issues Report, and that all members and officers of the Council be invited to attend, and that all relevant paperwork including the DETR document "Producing a Community Strategy - June 2000" be sent to all members well in advance of the Seminar.
