V28-544 : KIRKLEY SINGLE REGENERATION BUDGET (SRB) WORKING PARTY

The report of the Corporate Director (Regeneration and Environment) advised members that, whilst the above Working Party had been subsumed into the function of this Panel as a result of the Council's restructuring of its committee functions at minute V28-31, the Working Party had continued to meet.

There was a consensus between both the Working Party members and the Chairman of this Panel that the Working Party should be given a remit to continue, given its local focus on Kirkley and the fact that detailed discussions would be difficult to replicate in the policy context of the panel.
RESOLVED

1. That the Single Regeneration Budget Working Party be reconstituted for attendance by Kirkley and Whitton Ward members.

2. That the Panel receive an annual update on the achievements of the Kirkley SRB programme in summary format.
