V28-54 : BIODIVERSITY ISSUES

The report of the Head of Planning outlined a number of issues that have arisen in recent months relating to biodiversity issues in Suffolk, including the future of the Suffolk Biological Records Centre and the second tranche of Suffolk Biodiversity Action Plans.

RESOLVED

That a contribution of £2,000 be made to the Suffolk Biological Records Centre for 2000/01, to be met from the Planning Environmental Improvement budget, emphasising that this does not necessarily imply that further funding will be available in future years.
