V28-533 : PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE, SWANSONS PUBLIC HOUSE, BUNGAY

The report of the Chief Executive reminded members that the above premises were presently subject to a three monthly Public Entertainment Licence due to previous noise nuisance problems. The current Licence expired on 18 November 2000.

Further observations had been sought from Environmental Services who had no objection and the Police who were pleased to report no further complaints relating to the premises, and had no objection to renewal of the licence. A further period of three months would bring the Licence into line with expiry of all Annual Licences.

RESOLVED

That a Public Entertainment Licence for Swansons PH, Bungay, be issued for a further period of three months to expire on 28 February 2001, to allow a continuance of monitoring to take place.
