V28-505 : MATTERS REFERRED TO THE EXECUTIVE

The verbal report of the Corporate Director (Regeneration and Environment) reminded members that at minute V28-308 they had referred consideration of application W11938/2 to The Executive as a possible exception to policy. The Executive, whilst supporting the need for a Council policy relating to replacement windows in Conservation Areas, agreed with the deliberations of the Panel with regard to this application and granted approval. The Executive also considered that, having been in place for a reasonable time, the Council's policy with regard to replacement windows in Conservation Areas should be reviewed.

RESOLVED

1. That the report of the Corporate Director (Regeneration and Environment) concerning matters referred to The Executive be received.

2. That a special meeting of the Development Control Panel be arranged to review the Council's policy on replacement windows in Conservation areas with a view to making recommendations to the Regeneration and Environment Policy Panel regarding possible changes to the Policy.
