V28-500 : W3614/10 - PUBLIC CONVENIENCES, FERRY ROAD, SOUTHWOLD

Application for refurbishment of public conveniences.

The report of the Corporate Director (Regeneration and Environment) outlined a proposal to revamp the above existing toilet and shower block. Much of the work was internal, involving new WCs and hand wash facilities. Externally, but still within the canopy of the roof, was the provision of a baby changing room. This was a practical addition to the public conveniences which, along with the overall refurbishment, should be welcomed by residents and visitors alike and have minimal impact on the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Director recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That for the purposes of paragraph 4(5) of the Town and Country Planning General Regulations 1976 deemed planning permission be granted to application W3614/10.

The meeting was concluded at 10.15pm.
