Application for construction of vehicular access.

The report of the Corporate Director (Regeneration and Environment) outlined an application which related to a semi-detached dwelling. It was proposed to drop the kerb to provide a vehicular access. Although there was insufficient space to create a turning area, as the Highways Section stated, the benefits of getting a car off this stretch of St Peters Street was an advantage. Also other properties along this part of the street already had dropped kerbs. The Director recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That for the purposes of paragraph 4(5) of the Town and Country Planning General Regulations 1976 deemed planning permission be granted to application W17705.
