V28-46 : MEMBER TRAINING

The Chairman, under the statutory provision accorded to him, accepted a late item on training requirements.

The Director of Waveney Contract Services had attended the meeting to facilitate in identifying members' requirements for future training and personal development.

Members asked for more information on the scope of the new Panels; a listing of key terms and abbreviations/acronyms; information on the role of tenant compacts; training on evaluation of feasibility of suggestions; and

RESOLVED

That a half-hour long officer presentation on various chosen services be made to future meetings of the Panel.

The meeting was concluded at 8.40pm.
