V28-459 : PLANNING REFERRALS TO THE EXECUTIVE

The report of the Corporate Director (Corporate Resources and Policy) dealt with the concern expressed at the previous meeting on the mechanism for planning applications referred to The Executive from the Development Control Panel.

Members noted the inclusion of the "Matters Referred to the Executive", reporting back item already included in the agenda for the forthcoming Development Control Panel meeting.

RESOLVED

1. That the mechanism for reporting back the decision of The Executive on referred planning applications to the Development Control Panel, be endorsed

2. That members of The Executive be included in any member training programme on planning matters.
