V28-421 : MARKET AND EVENTS ASSISTANT - POST CL205 - AMENITIES SECTION
The report of the Corporate Director (Community Services) was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, due to the need to fill this recently vacated post.
The Market and Events Assistant post provided crucial support to the Events Co-ordinator for the Triangle, and for the High Street events and market programme, and to not fill this post would be extremely detrimental to the proposed programme and the effectiveness of the regeneration project for this area. Funding for the post was available through the Objective 5b fund until 31 March 2001.
RESOLVED
That Post CL205, part-time Market and Events Assistant, temporary until 31 March 2001, be advertised and filled.
