V28-408 : ADOPTION OF LAND AT HIGH STREET, KESSINGLAND
The report of the Corporate Director (Community Services) set out an approach by Orwell Housing Association for the Council to adopt an area of land in the High Street, Kessingland, adjacent to the existing open space that formed the village green.
The adoption of this land would enhance the Council's control over this section of the High Street and complement the amenity of the existing area. Orwell Housing Association would pay all Council costs incurred including legal fees, supervision fees and 10 year commuted maintenance for the area.
RESOLVED
That the Council adopts the 435 square metre parcel of land that fronts the Dowson Drive development in Kessingland.
