V28-395 : TEMPORARY REPAIRS CLERK - EXTENSION OF CONTRACT
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, as the contract of a temporary part-time Repairs Clerk appointed as long term sickness cover expired shortly.
It was resolved that the present arrangements be extended for a further six months on the existing terms, but as the holder of the temporary part-time Repairs Clerk post had indicated that they no longer wished to continue in this arrangement, it would be necessary to advertise and fill the post. (Para. 1)
