V28-39 : INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY

The report of the Chief Executive requested nominations for member representation on the Council's Information and Communication Technology Group (ICT Group).

It was also suggested that the Head of IT put on an `Open Day' for the Panel in September for members to get a better understanding of the present IT set-up and surrounding issues.

RESOLVED

1. That Councillors Chilvers, Hinton and Rouse be appointed to the Information and Communication Technology Group for 2000/01.

2. That the Head of IT arrange an Open Day for the Panel to demonstrate the present IT structure of the Council and associated issues.
