V28-342 : TACKLING FUEL POVERTY IN WAVENEY - A LOCAL WELL-BEING ISSUE

The report of the Corporate Director (Regeneration and Environment) drew members' attention to the need for an initial response to the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions on new arrangements which were now in place to deal with the issues of fuel poverty and affordable warmth.

The Council was already committed to a number of relevant initiatives, and a draft policy and Action Plan had been prepared.

RESOLVED

That the draft Fuel Poverty Policy and Action Plans be adopted as Council Policy with a review in 12 months' time.
