V28-329 : ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY 2000/01

At the request of the Chairman, the Council's Economic Development Strategy, adopted by the former Economic Development Sub-Committee on 20 March 2000, had been despatched to members of the Panel. Changes in the format of the Strategy were expected in the forthcoming months, as a result of the Corporate re-structuring, and the new Local Government Bill's requirement to prepare Community Strategies.

RESOLVED

That the existing Economic Development Strategy be confirmed, subject to review when the Corporate re-structuring has taken place.
