V28-320 : PIER PAVILION, SOUTHWOLD, PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE

The report of the Chief Executive detailed an application for a Public Entertainment Licence for the above premises. The hours requested were for Mondays to Saturdays from 11.30am to 1.00am and Sundays from 11.30am to midnight.

Observations were sought, and no objections received from the Director of Environmental Services, the Police or Southwold Town Council. The premises also achieved the required public safety standards of Suffolk Fire Service.

The application should have been brought to the Panel prior to issue, but at the time would have been the only item for consideration. As there were no objections, it was approved by the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Chairman, on condition that a report was made to the next meeting.

RESOLVED

That the action of the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Chairman, in approving a Public Entertainment Licence for the Pier Pavilion, Southwold, from 11.30am to 1.00am on Mondays to Saturdays, and 11.30am to midnight on Sundays, be confirmed.
