V28-294 : W15542 - 7 LAWRENCE DRIVE, LOWESTOFT

The report of the Corporate Director (Regeneration and Environment) advised that the owner of the above property operated his carpet fitting business from home. This was investigated in 1992 and found to be a relatively low key use. A further complaint had been received this year, and again the use was investigated and found not to have intensified since 1992.

Although there was some disturbance to the neighbours as a result of deliveries, this was not sufficient to warrant a planning application or enforcement action. It was therefore recommended that no further action be taken in the matter at this time.

RESOLVED

That no further action be taken regarding the carpet fitting business at 7 Lawrence Drive, Lowestoft.
