Application for rear sun lounge extension.

The report of the Head of Planning reminded members that the above application had been deferred at the last meeting of the Panel for negotiation of a design which would have less impact on the neighbouring property. Following this deferral the applicant had been asked to shorten the extension by one metre and reduce the roof pitch to 15 degrees or less, or even to a flat roof. The agent had submitted a revised scheme which reduced the length by 0.5 metres and had a flat roof.

The Head of Planning felt the scheme was now acceptable, and recommended authority to approve subject to no substantive objections from the neighbour.

RESOLVED

That the Head of Planning be given delegated authority to grant planning permission to the amended application W17609, subject to no sustainable objection of substance emerging before the expiration of the consultation period.
