Application for installation of cash machine and listed building consent for installation of cash machine.

The report of the Head of Planning outlined an application for a cash machine in an existing window opening at the left hand side of the above shopfront, facing onto Exchange Square. Consent to install an ATM in one of the larger central windows had been refused in October 1991, but the current proposal differed from that in that it concerned a smaller side window and the design was more compact than the earlier version. There were a number of precedents in the district, and the Head of Planning recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission and listed building consent be granted to applications W8743/19 and W8743/20 respectively.
