V28-239 : W15291/6 - RINGSFIELD HOUSE, REDISHAM ROAD, WESTON
Application for change of use of shop and stock room to residential.
The report of the Head of Planning reminded members that the above application had been deferred at the previous meeting of the Panel for investigation of any marketing of the premises as a shop/post office. The applicant had since provided a letter from Nationwide Businesses confirming that the shop and house had been marketed as a going concern from June 1998 to January 1999 with no offers. The applicants said they had marketed the shop for over a year in all with other agents. Given this information, the Head of Planning recommended approval.
RESOLVED
That planning permission be granted to application W15291/6, subject to satisfactory independent confirmation of the marketing exercise.
(Councillor Leverett left the meeting at this point of the proceedings)
