Application for removal of agricultural restriction - condition No 4 of W8208.

The report of the Head of Planning related Central Government advice that agricultural occupancy conditions should not be removed whilst there remained a long term need for dwellings for agricultural workers either on the holding or in the locality. A site visit had recently taken place to the location of the above application.

The bungalow had been marketed at a reduced value, approximately 40% lower than the full market value, for over two years. The dwelling had also been advertised locally and nationally and to some degree now met the criteria mentioned above. On balance, the Head of Planning felt that the application had demonstrated an acceptable market approach by continually marketing the property at a 40% reduction, and recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W8208/4.
