APPROVAL OF DETAILS TO CONSTRUCT A BUNGALOW

The report of the Head of Planning advised that the above planning permission was granted in August 1987, and in accordance with Condition 2, which removed permitted development rights, a plan had been submitted for the erection of a single storey flat roof rear extension to provide an additional bedroom with en-suite facilities. A letter of objection had been received.

The rear garden of the property was relatively small, and the proposed extension would therefore result in over-development on this infill plot, especially in view that the extension would extend to two boundaries in this limited rear garden. The extension should therefore not be agreed.

RESOLVED

That the proposed rear extension to 2A The Close, Corton, be refused, in accordance with Condition 2 attached to W3995/2 .
