Application for single storey rear extension.
The report of the Head of Planning advised that the above property was a semi-detached bungalow set well back from the road frontage with a flat roofed kitchen/diner extension. The proposal was to erect a further extension with a pitched roof, hipped at the rear. The applicant also proposed to create living space within the roof by removing the existing hipped roof and replacing it with a gable ended roof.
The effect of the alterations on both neighbours was an issue, and the Head of Planning recommended that a site visit take place before consideration of the application. RESOLVED
That a site visit be held at the location of application W17541.
