V28-132 : MATTERS AUTOMATICALLY REFERRED TO COUNCIL
The following matters were referred to Council for determination in accordance with Standing Order 42(1):
(a) Suffolk Conservation Manual
On 30 May 2000 the Regeneration and Environment Policy Panel considered a report by the Head of Planning.
The report provided an updated version of the above join County/District document, which contained much useful design guidance which could be applied to prominent areas of Lowestoft and the market towns.
RESOLVED
1. That the revised version of the Suffolk Conservation Manual be adopted as Council Policy.
(b) Personnel Panels A and B - Amendment to Standing Orders
On 6 July 2000, arising from the minutes of the previous meetings, the Executive felt it was important that a female member was appointed to Personnel Panels A and B and that the membership be increased to five members. It was necessary to amend Standing Orders in order to achieve this.
RESOLVED
2. That the Council's Standing Orders be amended to increase the membership of Personnel Panels A and B to five members, and to appoint an additional member from outside The Executive to each Panel.
