REVENUE BUDGET 2000/01 - FEES AND CHARGES

1. Planning and Building Control Fees

(a) Planning Fees Set by Government Regulations.

(b) Building Control Fees These are now set by the Council and
the fee work must break even over a
rolling three year period. A separate
report will be brought to Committee
on the subject. A 3% increase will
apply from April 2000.

(c) Miscellaneous

Copies of official documents
(e.g. decision notices) £ 6.00

Sale of A4 Plans The charges include royalties payable
to Ordnance Survey plus a small
administrative charge. They are
reviewed as and when the royalties
change. The administrative charge will
increase from £2.00 to £4.00.

(d) Weekly Planning Application List - Increased to £100 per annum. Charge to non-statutory bodies.

2. Diversion of Footpaths Each case charged at cost

3. Car Parking Fees

(a) Off Street New charges approved at minute
V27-503 apply from January 2000.

(b) Residents - per permit £15.00
- replacement of lost permit £ 5.00
- excess charges as for Off Street
Car Parking (i.e. £45 or £25 if
paid within seven days)

4. Hackney Carriages/Private Hire Vehicle Charges To be set by Taxi Licensing Panel with view to Section being self-financing.
