V27-989 : MANAGEMENT OF THE NORTH DENES AND SOUTHWOLD

CARAVAN AND CAMPING SITES

The report of the Director of Community Services proposed that the management activities and contracted elements of the above service be brought back together under the Community Services Department.

The requirements of CCT had produced a negative effect on standards and increased service costs. The proposal had been agreed with the Contractor, Waveney Contract Services, and would result in a reduction of £15,000 per annum in operating costs.

RESOLVED

That the building cleaning and grounds maintenance functions for the North Denes and Southwold Caravan and Camping Sites be undertaken by the Community Services Department with effect from 1 March 2000.
