V27-988 : FEES AND CHARGES - PASSPORT TO LEISURE AND RESIDENTS' PASSPORT

The report of the Director of Community Services was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, as the subject affected the Forward Budget.

The report set out options for the annual fees and charges increase for the Passport to Leisure and Residents' Passport, together with the potential savings of each option. Members were minded to set the price of a Passport to Leisure at £3, and to link the other Passport charges to that, bringing the charge for a Non-Residents' Passport to £15 and for a Residents' Passport to £4. This would generate additional income of £5,000.

RESOLVED

That the charges for Passports to Leisure and Residents Passports, as set out in Section 15 of Appendix A to the minutes, be included in the forward budget for 2000/2001.
