V27-985 : TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING BUDGET
The report of the Director of Community Services discussed the implementation of the Tourism Strategy, including the Waveney Tourism Forum, research and monitoring, and a range of projects. The report also set out the proposed implementation budget for tourism research, research publications, Waveney Tourism Forum and tourism product development.
Members agreed to transfer £10,000 from Tourism Operations, but did not also wish to increase the tourism development and marketing budget by £10,000 as proposed in the report.
RESOLVED
1. That the virement of £10,000 from Tourism Operations to the tourism development and marketing budget be approved.
2. That an annual progress report on the implementation and review of Tourism Strategy be presented to the Committee in one year's time.
