V27-971 : BUDGET

The report of the Director of Central Services indicated the out-turn figures for 1998/99 and reviewed the current year's budget, together with prospects for the forward financial year. The Director added that the special item of £5,000 for the replacement of the fire detection system had been removed from this year's budget, and deferred for consideration in the 2000/01 special items list, as part of the Council's budget savings review.

The Honorary Curator was concerned that the Trustees were having to fund some decoration works themselves, which were the responsibility of the Council, when there appeared to be provision within the budget. The Council's Property Services Manager would be asked to contact him and clarify this position.

RESOLVED

That the budget report of the Director of Central Services be received.
