V27-965 : NORTH LOWESTOFT HERITAGE AND ECONOMIC REGENERATION GRANT SCHEME

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, in view of the timescale needed to initiate the recommendations.

The report reminded members that the North Lowestoft HERS grant scheme and its funding was approved minute V26-1309 to commence in April 2000. The report brought to members attention further developments where supporting projects could benefit from inclusion in the scheme, subject to attracting Objective 2 funds.

RESOLVED

1. That an action for the North Lowestoft HERS plan be submitted to English Heritage as described in the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control.

2. That the priorities indicated in the report be adopted as a basis for a future Objective 2 bid for the North Lowestoft HERS.

The meeting was concluded at 9.50 pm.
