V27-964 : SUFFOLK LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN

LOWESTOFT ACTION PLAN, INVOLVING THE COMMUNITY

The report of the Director of Community Services reminded members that minute V27-35.2 resolved to use external consultants to engage the community to support the development of the Local Transport Plan for Lowestoft. CAG Consultants had since been appointed.

The work involved the Transport Panel of key stakeholders, including Councillors Devereux and Young. The main event for involving the community was to be an all day transport visioning conference on 12 February 2000.

RESOLVED

That Councillors Bee, Bostock, Devereux, Francis, Hunter, Patience and Young attend the all day Transport Visioning Conference, and attendance be authorised as an approved duty.
