V27-940 : APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE
The Leader of the Council, Councillor Bostock, welcomed to the meeting the newly appointed Chief Executive, Mairi Youngson. Councillor Bostock informed members that Mairi came from a Social Services background both in Suffolk and Norfolk but importantly had worked outside Local Government for some time as a consultant. Mairi would make a presentation at the end of the meeting of the material she used in her recent interview. Members would be given an opportunity to question Mairi, and wine and mince pies would be served after the meeting at which point Mairi would be introduced to Councillors individually.
