V27-929 : SUFFOLK DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

The report of the Chief Executive set out the Council's financial commitment to the recently established Suffolk Development Agency. At previous meetings of the Agency's Management Group it was agreed that the organisations represented on the Group be asked to agree a nominal fee of £1,500 towards the `start-up costs' of the partnership, It was also suggested that a further contribution of £1,500 for the year 2000/01 be made.

RESOLVED

1. That a contribution of £1,500 be made towards the start-up costs of the Suffolk Development Agency, to be met from the Employment Regeneration Fund.

2. That the Council subscribes to the Suffolk Development Agency at an annual cost of £1,500 commencing from 2000/2001.
