V27-901 : LOWESTOFT NORTHERN SPINE ROAD MILLENNIUM STREET NAMING COMPETITION

The report of the Director of Community Services set out the shortlisted entries to the above Competition, and announced the winning name as `Millennium Way". The three winners of the competition would be invited to formally unveil the road's nameplate, and participate in the Council's Millennium activities throughout the year.

RESOLVED

That the name of the northern spine road be formally recommended to Policy and Resources Committee on 18 November 1999 as "Millennium Way", and that the three winners be congratulated on their suggestion.
