V27-890 : TRAINING AND ENTERPRISE COUNCILS - CONSULTATION RESPONSE

The report of the Chief Executive outlined the responses received nationally to the Government's consultation paper on TEC's - `Meeting the Challenge of the Millennium', and highlighted those issues which had local significance and relevance.

RECOMMENDED

That the findings of the national consultation paper on "TECs - Meeting the Challenge of the Millennium" be used to inform the Council's response to the Government's White Paper "Learning to Succeed" on the Training and Enterprise Council reform.
