V27-888 : LOWESTOFT ENTERPRISE TRUST

The Chairman welcomed Mr Kevin Horne, the Chief Executive of the Lowestoft Enterprise Trust, to the Sub-Committee. Mr Horne gave a short presentation on the work of the Trust which provided business counselling services to the District's small business community. There followed a short question and answer session.

The report of the Chief Executive outlined a need to provide renewed sponsorship of the work of the Lowestoft Enterprise Trust, which expired at the end of this calendar year.

RECOMMENDED

That a grant of £7,000 per annum for two years be made to the Lowestoft Enterprise Trust to assist with its business start up work within Waveney, to be met from within existing budgets.
