V27-876 : INFORMATION STRATEGY ANNUAL REPORT

The report of the Director of Central Services provided an annual update on progress with the Council's Information Strategy, and identified the resources required in the coming year.

RECOMMENDED

1. That the following IT investment be approved provisionally for 2000/2001 subject to further review as part of that year's revenue budget process:

(a) hardware £124,500
(b) software £220,000
(c) consultancy £16,000

1. That the Personnel Resources Sub-Committee be recommended to extend the fixed term contract of Post FC113 by a further six months.

2. That attendance for Member IT training be authorised as an approved duty.
