V27-850 : FORMER LOTHINGLAND HOSPITAL, UNION LANE, OULTON

UNAUTHORISED VEHICLE STORAGE USE

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control advised that the above land was allocated in the Local Plan as suitable for Class C2 development (residential institutions), but that in the interim the landowner had granted a one year lease for storage of vehicles. These were in varying states of repair, and complaints had been received. The Director felt this use should be in an industrial area and requested authority to take action.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be authorised to take all pursuant action to ensure the cessation of vehicle storage use at the former Lothingland Hospital site, off Union Lane, Oulton.
