V27-817 : HOUSING MAINTENANCE 2000 ONWARDS
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, as it had been unavailable at the time of the publication of the Agenda.
The Committee approved the report, which considered the future delivery of the services, tenant need, value for money, sustainability, best value, asset management and continued improvement of stock, subject to a report to the Personnel Resources Sub-Committee on the staffing issues involved. A statement from the union, Unison, was circulated to all members for information. (Para. 1, 8)
The meeting was concluded at 9.30 pm.
