V27-812 : PRIVATE SECTOR HOUSE CONDITION SURVEY

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services dealt with the necessity for a Private Sector Stock Condition Survey, as identified by the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions and to meet the Council's legal requirement to monitor the condition of all housing in the district. Concurrently, a survey of empty properties could be undertaken.

RESOLVED

That a £30,000 provision be considered within the context of the forward budget to enable a Private Sector Housing Stock Condition Survey to be undertaken.
