V27-8 : ADJOURNMENT

On a motion from the Chair, it was

RESOLVED

That this meeting of the Council do adjourn until the conclusion of the meetings of the five Committees.

MINUTES OF COMMITTEES

During the adjournment the Chairman of the Council presided over each Committee meeting and voting was by card.

PLANNING AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE

RESOLVED

1. That Councillor Ley be elected Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

2. That Councillor Hunter be elected Vice-Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

3. That the following members be elected to the Taxi Licensing Panel:

Councillors Cherry, Hunter, Langley, Ley and Taylor.

4. That the meeting do stand adjourned until Tuesday, 18 May 1999.

HOUSING AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES COMMITTEE

RESOLVED

1. That Councillor R. Carter be elected Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

2. That Councillor Rouse be elected Vice-Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

3. That the following members be elected to the Housing Sub-Committee:

Councillors Blowers, R. Carter, Goldsmith, Rouse, Shepherd, Spoor, Walmsley, Whitlow and J. Winterton.

4. That the following members be elected to the Licensing Panel:

Councillors Austin, Graham, McGee, Robertson and Rodgers.

5. That the meeting do stand adjourned until Thursday, 27 May 1999.

COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMITTEE

RESOLVED

1. That Councillor Kelly be elected Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

2. That Councillor R. Winterton be elected Vice-Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

3. That the meeting do stand adjourned until Thursday, 20 May 1999.

DIRECT SERVICES COMMITTEE

RESOLVED

1. That Councillor Hinton be elected Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

2. That Councillor T. Carter be elected Vice-Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

3. That the meeting do stand adjourned until Tuesday, 8 June 1999.

DEVELOPMENT CONTROL COMMITTEE

RESOLVED

1. That Councillor Jermy be elected Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.

2. That Councillor Devereux be elected Vice-Chairman for the ensuing year.

3. That the meeting do stand adjourned until Wednesday, 19 May 1999.
