V27-797 : RENEWAL OF PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE

THE THREE TUNS, BUNGAY

The report of the Chief Executive reminded members that minute V26-1356 renewed the above Public Entertainment Licence for six months, to expire on 31 August 1999. This was to allow further monitoring of the premises to be carried out following numerous and consistent noise complaints.

Further observations had been sought, and the Director of Housing and Environmental Services still had concerns regarding noise complaints and wished to see the Licence issued on a monthly basis pending further monitoring of noise nuisance complaints.

RESOLVED

1. That the Public Entertainment Licence for The Three Tuns, Bungay, be renewed on a monthly basis to allow further noise nuisance monitoring to be carried out.

2. That the Chief Executive be given delegated authority to issue a Licence for a longer period once the Director of Housing and Environmental Services is satisfied.
